Diversity and Inclusivity in Mathematics
In occasione della Giornata Internazionale delle Donne e Ragazze nella Scienza, che si celebra l'11 febbraio di ogni anno, la commissione CPO e il seminario MIC organizzano un incontro con la Dott.ssa Chiara Sabadin (Universität Regensburg) aperto a componente studentesca ed afferenti del Dipartimento. L'evento si terrà Mercoledi 11 febbraio, ore 16:30 in Aula 1A150 (Torre Archimede). Seguirà un rinfresco. Partecipazione libera, previa registrazione qui entro Lunedì 9 febbraio.
Abstract:
Should (gender) diversity and inclusivity in maths still be discussed nowadays?
Based on a survey made in 2025 among maths students, PhD students and postdocs throughout the world, the first part of the talk will provide powerful insights on various topics (gender quotas, work-life balance, role models, menstruations and stereotypes), leading to a second part where we will have an interactive discussion together with the audience.

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on February 11th each year, the Equal Opportunities Commission and the MIC seminars organisers are co-organizing a seminar by Dr. Chiara Sabadin (University of Regensburg) open to students and department members.
